Julep Eva Swatch

OMFG. This is the most beautiful red I have ever seen in my life. This is the perfect red for someone who wants to wear red polish but is a little wary of it. This red is very soft and in some lights, even looks like a dark, dark pink. I LOVE IT! I rarely wear a plain polish mani. I'm always scotch taping or Konading. Not on this baby! This is too beautiful all on its own to put anything over it.

Julep American Beauty April Maven Box

Hi everyone! My second Julep box came yesterday This style is American Beauty. It came with the great pedi cream and two polishes. The polishes are Eva (a creamy raspberry) and Renee (a light lilac). They look pretty in the bottle and I'll do a mani with them very, very soon so you'll be able to see swatches.

Mani Using Julep Annette

I really like Julep Annette, but as you know, I cant stand a plain mani! So I wanted to see how some glitters would look over it and I like the effect. On the accent finger, I put Sally Hansen Wedding Crashers which is little pink glitters in a pink gel base, which has a really nice effect on the Julep Annette. Then, on all the fingers I put Essie A Cut Above, which I got in this month's Birchbox. I love this mani! What do you think?

Julep Bombshell April Maven Box

My Julep Bombshell April Maven Box came in the mail! They sure do ship these out early! This month, we got a pedicure cream which I really like.  The polishes are Annette (a soft gray cream, which is swatched below) and Parker (tangerine cream). They also included some toe separators. I really like how they have been adding in little surprise extras! Last month I think it was a nail file, if memory serves. I love Julep!!!

China Glaze Fois Gras and ManGlaze Matte-Astrophe

Here is China Glaze Fois Gras from the Hunger Games Collection. I think it's a pretty color--it's a nice creamy brown, but did the collection really need two creamy browns? The other one is Mahogany Magic. They are completely different colors, but they are in the same category and I would have liked to see more variety.

So, to mix it up, I put ManGlaze Matte-Astrophe over it and it looked pretty cool. This matte finish crackles over some polishes, and this is one of them!

Nail Spam!

First, a swatch of Julep Maya, which I received in my St. Patrick's Day Mystery Box!

Then, I got bored and wanted to check out China Glaze Hunger Games Collection Harvest Moon.

Then, I got bored with that! So, I took it off and put on Zoya Kiki which I'm freaking IN LOVE with!

I couldn't bear to think about taking of this precious pink baby, so I dazzled it up with some Orly Royal Navy Tips.

And I did this all in one day! I was pretty bored! Hahahaha.

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!

Nail of the Day

Hi everyone! Here's a mani I actually did yesterday--I just forgot to post it! I used China Glaze Dress Me Up from the Hunger Games collection.

Then, I did a little stamping. On my pinkie nail, I did a top coat with Essie Matte About you because I was curious what Dress Me Up would look like matte. I actually like it better than shiny!

Nail of the Day

Here's another one from the China Glaze Hunger Games Collection. This one is Mahogany Magic and represents District 7. I didn't think I would like the brown on my fingers, but I actually think it suits me!

Then, I decided to try the stamping power of Zoya Yummy. I was pretty impressed! The color is really pretty and I can't wait to swatch it.

Nail of the Day

I started off with China Glaze Fast Track, from the Hunger Games Collection. It's a light mocha color with gold shimmer.

Then, of course that was too boring, so I decided to stamp over it. I used Sally Hansen Flirt. I was very impressed with it's stamping power! I think it showed up nicely.
