I did this purple glitter tips french mani using Sally Hansen Plum Power as the base and Julep Chelsea for the tips.

Sally Hansen the Real Teal and Silver Crackle

Here is a swatch of Sally Hansen the Real Teal. I really liked the silver tips I did earlier in the week so I decided to do it again with a Sally Hansen Silver Crackle. This time, I used Orly Dazzle to do the french tips.

Random.Org Mani!

I really liked my "random" manicure from earlier this week, so I decided to let fate pick my colors again. For fun, I've included a picture of my polish shelf. Keep in mind that I rearrange it all the time so today's number s;lot might not have  the same polish tomorrow!

Random.org picked number 91: Sally Hansen Pink Boa and number and number 58: Julep Fina. Neither of these are good for stamping, so I thought a scotch tape mani was in order. I think I could have planned the angles better, but overall, I like the effect.

Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Polish Review

I received this Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Polish in Polar Purple free of charge for testing and reviewing purposes from Influenster.com.

First, this color is fantastic. It's a deep purple that shimmers in the sunlight. The design of the bottle is also great. The magnet is in a separate cap so you can put it over the regular cap and then you don't lose the magnet! Fabulous! The brush is also wonderful. The bristles are nice and thick and a little stiff. This means that application is super easy because you don't have soft wimpy bristles flying all over the place.

I think the effect of the magnet is gorgeous! I will absolutely be buying this polish in other colors!!! I'm thrilled with this product!

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips Review

These are, by far, the best nail polish strips I have ever used. They were the most pliable which made it so it was easier to get the entire strip flat on my nail. I have ridges so this has always been a problem for me. However, the Sally Hansen ones follow the natural shape of your nail. I also like that I can remove these with nail polish. One problem I have with other brands is that you have to peel them off to remove them. My nails are already weak and peeling so removing strips that way actually take a layer of my nail with it! That's why I'm so excited to be able to use nail polish for removal!!!

Here is how you would apply them:

1.) After selecting the correct size, peel off the protective layer from the strip. 

2.) Break off the tab and peel the polish strip off the backing.

3.) Carefully apply the strip to the nail, pressing down from the center out to prevent any air bubbles or ridges.

4.) This isn't in the official directions with the products, but I've found the easiest way to remove the excess strip is with a nail clipper. I simply clip it down so it's flush with my nail.

4.) Since the clippers can't get it super straight, use the nail file that Sally Hansen include to file the strip down so it's even with your nail.

5.) Repeat nine more times!

There is NO drying time so you're ready to go right away! Sally Hansen has over 40 different colors/patterns to choose from. I think these are FANTASTIC and I will be buying them!

Julep Ellie Mani #2

If you remember, I got Julep Ellie in the last Julep boxes. It is very sheer so it needs "underwear". This time, I decided to try it over black. I actually do not like the effect very much. It was a whole lot prettier over Julep January. The black I used was Sally Hansen Black Out.

I also apologize for the weird photos. I broke my ring finger nail really badly. It's like halfway down the bed and looks really bad. So I'm not painting it until it grows out and it has a band-aid over it...so you only get to see some of my fingers!

More Polka Dots?!

Yep! More polka dots! Why? Because I love them!!!

For this mani, I started with Man Glaze Matte About You. I used Sally Hansen Bubblegum Pink for stamping with plate BM19.

This reminded me A LOT of a mani I saw another blog, so I wanted to give a shout out to her: chloesnails.blogspot.com.  She was my inspiration for starting to paint my nails to begin with! :)

Nail of the Day!

Here's the mani for today: It started with Orly Luxe and then some Faux-Nad polka dots with Sally Hansen Bubblegum Pink. I've come to discover that most nail polishes can be used for stamping, you just have to figure out which combos they'll show up on.

Swatches!

Hello! Here are two swatches for you today. I broke my ring finger nail--you can see it in the Cactus swatch. :( Then, later in the day, I broke my thumbnail!!! Do you ever have a day when it seems like all your nails are breaking?

Here is Sally Hansen Heart to Heart. It reminds me of Julep January, so if you're looking for a creamy orange red, but don't want to pay high-end prices, this would be a good choice for you.

Next, I have LA Colors Cactus. This is one of my favorite polish colors I own and it only cost $2!!! Now that is a deal! It's a beautiful green with lots of gold in it.

Sally Hansen Black Platinum Swatch

A friend of mine gave this baby to me as a gift and I love it! This is my favorite black I've ever tried. It has some great silver reflections and it's just gorgeous!
