I have received my May 2012 Sample Society box from Beauty Bar. To be upfront, I have already cancelled my subscription and this will be my last month. I just haven't been that impressed. It doesn't offer me anything that I don't already get from all the other sample subscriptions. In fact...I've already received some dupes. Who wants to pay for the same stuff?! Since this is the most expensive one, I decided it had to go.
Here's what we got:
On the left, you can see that we got a makeup poof. Also, Strivectin. I already got this in a Beauty Army box. I wasn't impressed at all. I saw no difference in my stretch marks so to me, this is a total waste.
A perfume sample. No comment.
Stila mascara.
Bamboo UV+ that is basically hair sunscreen.
Thank you for reading!
On a more pleasant note, I recently discovered an AWESOME website! The company is called Little Black Bag. I highly recommend you go check it out. I'll do a blog post for it soon.

Beauty Bar Sample Society April 2012
First up, we have Boscia cleanser
Then, we have Murad Skin Perfecting Primer. This appears to be an acne fighting product, which is not something that I need.
Then we have Oscar Blandi hair serum. If I'm excited about any of these samples, it's this one. I like the brand and would be happy to try the serum.
Next, we have Terry night cream. I apologize that it's sideways. Apparently, my camera decided to do some crack right before this picture and Blogger won't let me rotate it!
Lastly, we have DDF amplifying serum. It appears that this is an anti-aging product. I do appreciate that they included an anti-acne and an anti-aging product in the same box. It's a good way to reach lots of age groups.
Overall, I'm disappointed with this month's box. There really isn't anything I'm thrilled about and I really wish some makeup was involved here!
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!

Beauty Bar Sample Society March 2012
BeautyBar.com has decided to jump on the monthly sample box bandwagon and I decided to give it a try. They are calling it "The Sample Society". I received my first box today.
Here are the products individually:
First, Skyn Icelandic Relief Eye Pen.
Then, Fekkai Advanced Brilliant Glossing Cream for hair. I actually already have a sample of these that I received ages ago from Sephora. It still looks brand new since I only need a tiny amount. Perhaps this should be included in the first give away I do? Thoughts?
Then, Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant. I'm excited to try this one as I have dry skin and need to exfoliate more than a few times a week.
Then, Ren Glycolactic Renewal Peel Mask,
And lastly...a perfume sample. Siiiiigh. You know how I feel about perfume samples! I can forgive Beauty Bar since we received four great samples and I'm going to consider this a "bonus". However, if perfume and skincare samples is all I receive for the next four months from Beauty Bar, then I'll probably drop this subscription. (I have so many!) But, only time will tell.
